Grover Jordan and Crystal Wall were arrested on February 04, 2018 by Sgt. Talley of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office. The two were accused of breaking into a house trailer on Deepwood Ave in Stanaford on February 01, 2018. On February 04, 2018 the couple was accused of breaking into the trailer again and Sgt. Talley was dispatched to the scene along with his K-9 partner Smokey. K-9 Smokey led Sgt. Talley on a scent trail left by Grover Jordan that ended at 510 Stanaford Road where articles of clothing were discarded by Grover Jordan before he was able to get a ride and leave the area. On February 4, 2018 Sgt. Talley was dispatched to a domestic situation and discovered it to be between Grover Jordan and Crystal Wall. The two were taken into custody and charged with two counts of breaking and entering and petit larceny. Grover Jordan was charged in December 2014 with attempted murder for shooting at deputies following a domestic incident at his residence in the Terry Beach area of Raleigh County. That case is still pending in circuit court.
