On 03-02-2020 Beckley Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Harper Road assisted by Sgt. Epling and Dep. Queen of the RCSO. During the traffic stop 21 grams of heroin was located in the vehicle and a passenger, Mark Clyburn Jr., was arrested for possession with intent to deliver. As a result of the traffic stop further investigation was conducted which led to Sgt. Epling obtaining a search warrant for a room at the Microtel Inn located on Harper Road. The search warrant was executed and 56.2 grams of heroin, 22 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 33 grams of fentanyl and 1 dose of LSD was located and seized from the room.
