On 09-06-2017 at approximately 7:20PM Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1137 Stanaford Road on a report of shots fired. Through investigation, it was determined that Teddy Eugene Weis Jr. 41 of Stanaford had fired a handgun toward an unidentified male as he was fleeing from Mr. Weis. Mr. Weis stated that it was his belief that the male had been involved in a previous theft in which Weis had been the victim. There were two juveniles working at the location not involved in the incident in any way that were placed in grave danger as a result of these actions. Mr. Weis was arrested and charged with two counts of Wanton Endangerment. He was lodged in Southern Regional Jail pending arraignment. Deputy A. B. Milam is the lead investigator of this incident.
