On 11/6/2017 Deputy R.A. Robinson was dispatched to check the welfare of a female in the area of Sullivan Camp who had contacted the 911 center requesting help before disconnecting. Deputies located the female at a residence in Sullivan when she indicated she was held at knife point and not about to leave. During that investigation various drug paraphernalia was observed which resulted in the issuance of a search warrant for that residence. During the execution of the search warrant close to 200 grams of crystal methamphetamine was recovered, with an approximate value of $37,000. Five subjects were arrested in connection with these events, with charges ranging from Possession with Intent to Deliver to Kidnapping. These subjects were Andrew Fitzpatrick age 32, Cheyenne Hart age 21, Jessica Kincaid age 27, Joseph Keffer age 34, and Elijah Mills age 38. Those assisting Dep. Robinson were Cpl. B.J. Adkins, Dep. W.B. Ramey and Dep. C.M. Schack. Additional assistance was obtained from the Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force which is comprised of officers from the Beckley City Police, Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, and West Virginia State Police.
