On January 25, 2019, the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Chase Burgess on additional charges of Malicious Assault and giving False Information to Medical Personnel. These Charges are in relation to an earlier arrest for Child Abuse resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
On this same date, the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office also arrested Allyson Faye Herron regarding this investigation for Accessory after the Fact, giving False Information to Medical Personnel, and Child Abuse resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
These arrests stem from an investigation where both individuals were in care of their eleven-week-old infant.
