On March 23, 2017 members of the Beckley/Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Unit conducted a search warrant at 105 Hargrove Street in Beckley pursuant to an investigation. During the search, members found approximately 15 ounces of crystal methamphetamine and 4 ounces of Marijuana. They also confiscated 6 handguns, 1 shotgun, 1 .22 caliber rifle and one AR-15. The street value of the confiscated drugs was over $85,000. As a result of the investigation and search warrant, investigators arrested Anslem Holder, age 51 of Beckley. Holder was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Crystal Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana. He was arraigned before Magistrate Jones before posting $25,000 bond. The Beckley/Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Unit is comprised of officers from Beckley Police Department, West Virginia State Police and the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
