On May 5, 2015 Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Bypass Pharmacy in Beaver on what was reported to be an attempted armed robbery. During this incident the suspect entered the pharmacy and used a chemical spray to incapacitate the employees, before exiting the business. Through the course of the investigation detectives obtained evidence indicating the person responsible was Michael Meadows. Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant at Meadows’ residence; subsequently Meadows was arrested and charged with attempted 2nd Degree Robbery. He was arraigned and bond set at $100,000.
