…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT TODAY…
While there are still many Residents of not only Raleigh County, but all of southern West Virginia without power due to the winds last night, the National Weather Service states more high winds could come today. Below is the Wind Advisory they issued this morning.
* WHAT…Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
* WHERE…Portions of southeast Ohio, southwest Virginia, northeast Kentucky and central, northeast, northern, southeast, southern and western West Virginia.
* WHEN…Until 8 PM EDT Monday.
* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
